Penalties rise for late tax payments
Self-assessment taxpayers, who failed to pay all the tax due for the 2003-2004 tax year by the January 31 deadline, should be aware that they will incur cumulative penalties the longer payment is delayed, warns the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW).
